I can't stand it! I can't stand it!  My temptation threshold has been exceeded.

The only real way to resolve Julian Dates is to start counting January 1, 1. Period.

This does not help you calculate B.C. dates (unless you really are in British Columbia!), and there is no zero A.D.

The calendar goes from 12/31/1 B.C. to 1/1/1 A.D., which made it very difficult for the inventor (I just know people are going to jump all over me for this) of the Julian Calendar, Julius Caesar.
