hi all!
i've got a conundrum. the following is from the console
logs....
(OUTPUT)0:25/139/Output spooler, LDEV #2171: FDEVICECONTROL
error.
Native Mode Spooler message 9547
(OUTPUT)0:25/139/Output spooler, LDEV #2171: IPC error
while trying to open a
printer connection socket. IPCDEST error 4:TRANSPORT HAS
NOT BEEN INITIALIZED. (SOCKERR 4)
Native Mode Spooler message 9MANAG
(OUTPUT)0:25/139/Output spooler, LDEV #2171: The spooler
could not complete
output of file O850.OUT.HPSPOOL.Native Mode Spooler message
9511
it's quite true that the network was *not* started
yet....however the problem is outfence was set to 14 (which
is also quite visible in the console log). why is the
system trying to print?
fwiw, there's maybe a 1000 printers (that's not a typo!)
configured on this system and i'm confident that there was
more one spoolfile needing to be printed. no other printers
reported such a problem. - d 'yuck, it's monday'
