The tar data corruption problem (discovered by Danny) for large binary MPE
files documented in SR 8606130202 has not yet been fixed. :-(

The tar data corruption problem where MPE fixed ASCII files could have their
last record truncated as documented in SR 5003459925 now has a beta patch
available:

MPELXJ7A for 6.0 (BT)
MPELXJ7B for 6.5 (BT)
MPELXJ7C for 7.0 (PR - patch requested but not yet started)

FYI, this was determined to be a bytestream emulator problem, so that is what
is being patched instead of TAR.HPBIN.SYS. I.e. this patch fixes code used by
lots of other things besides tar.
