Can anyone offer me some tips on how I would go about configuring an
external modem for my HP3000 box? Basically, I need the modem for access
into a very old, legacy application (EASY ACCOUNTING.) It was not designed
to run on a network interface and the only way is through terminals. Our
company just moved from the East Coast to the West Coast and we didn't
anticipate this to be a problem. However, now the credit manager is pitching
a fit and needs access into EASY and we have no DTC's or dumb terminals. I
thought it would be easiest just to put an external modem on the box but due
to my limited experience I have no clue how to configure it and could not
find any documentation for such an operation.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and needed for my continued job
success :-)
