I've heard quite the opposite.  You do business according to their business
model(s) or you don't do business at all.  Complete flexibility within the
confines of what the package does vs. how you currently or want to run your
business.

IMHO, SAP is too flexible for most companies.  If your company cannot make
a decision, then SAP can become a nightmare.  SAP has caught on to this
and has had partners create "prepackaged" industry specific solutions.
