I am looking to categorize HP products - specifically the HP 3000 - in
a web catalog. I suggested using the formal name of the company -
"Hewlett-Packard" because I thought '3000 types call HP by it's full
name for formal use. Others, however, came back and said
"I believe they prefer HP now. All their Web info has that." and "I
also think HP is the best choice. People tends to refer to it as 'HP'
these days."

So I am turning to the most qualified bunch I know. Which is it -
HP or Hewlett-Packard?
