Really, what is being suggested is what OpenMPE is offering.  OpenMPE is a
striped down version of what is offered currently.  If you take all the MPE
related items from Interex and HP, you have OpenMPE.  And it's only for the
user community, by the user community.  OpenMPE concerns itself with only
MPE related issues, including 3rd party issues and emulation issues.

We should focus ourselves on OpenMPE, because it is a good "Back to the
Future" idea.
