I was reading an article that highlighted some of the "things" we in America have gained/lost as a result of the events/people/actions in the U.S. decade known as the 60's...and the author offered this quote as one of his parting observations:


                "Our single greatest failure was to sustain the idea that corporate America is the biggest threat to a vibrant democracy, and today the power of corporate wealth over our politics has never been more absolute"

I couldn't agree more.
