In a front page article in Infoworld, it seems that HP is taking on Sun with
it's own Clean Room version of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) dubbed
apparently, the HP JVM.  (Article starts on Page 1, continues on Page 10)

Sun, apparently, welcomes the competition...the only issue seen by the
analysts is whether HP can actually use the term "Java" - they seem to think
Sun will take issue with that.

The article revolved around HP licensing it to Microsoft for the Windows CE
OS, but for those in attendance at IPROF this year, HP's support of Java was
announced.  Now, should we wonder if this news will make it to CSY and GSY
as well?

This is rather interesting, if I may say so myself :)

Any comment from CSY on this?
