Mark,

Can you attibute this solely to the stack? Are the machines identically
configured and on the same subnet? Same browser config as well? I do
find it hard to believe WRQ's stack doesn't perform as well as the M$
stack. Although, I have been told by WRQ tech support that M$ doesn't
follow all the rules when it comes to the 'standard' stack and that
sometimes it's best just to use theirs. :(

/M$ bash mode on/
IMHO, M$ coded IE to utilize their stack most efficiently, and figured the
heck with any others.
/M$ bash mode off/

You may just want to grab a copy of Netscape and do the same kind of
comparison and see what happens.

We recently put in a frame relay Internet connection. I was excited to see
how fast my browser would bring up web sites. My struggles with slow
dial-up access were finally going to be over!
