Yes, La Nina.

I live an hour from Mt. Baker.  This last winter, we broke the world record
for snowfall at 95 feet.  Yes, your read that correctly, 95 feet.  This
year, NOAA is predicting even more snow than last year.  This is being
attributed to La Nina.  Skiing should be really good this year!  :-)
