One solution we currently use is Fantasia, which automatically downloads
the bar-code font to the printer as part of the data stream.

You can do it yourself thru normal "font" switching escape sequences,
but as other posters have implied, you need to ensure that the printer
has the bar code font loaded into memory.

Subject: [HP3000-L] HP3000 and Barcode

OK... I've read tons and tons of articles and need some information on
how
to generate and print barcodes directly from our HP3000 to a HP Laserjet

printer or using a PostScript method. Does anyone have information that
would help me get started?
