I have an HP3000/N4000 on 7.5 power patch 1. We are attempting to update to Power patch 2 and have run into a hardware SNAG. Our DDS3 has failed us and we are waiting to hear back from the CE. In the meantime we do have a DLT8000 as a second device.

I am at a point where I have restored the dds3 tape but cannot write a cslt tape "does not see write enabled" .

I could start over if!!!!!!


Question: Is it possible to update from a DLT?
