Has anyone been able to get an NS/VT connection with an hp terminal emulator
running under OS/2? If so, I'd like to hear some of the requirements. We have
experimented a little by installing LanWorkPlace for OS/2 and using Winsock
for Windows. Our results have not been great yet. We were able to get Session
for Windows to TELNET just fine, but NS/VT gives communication error 118. This
error usually means (under straight Windows) that the local host IP and name
were not found in the HOSTS file; but this isn't the reason under OS/2. With
Minisoft for Windows, we actually got connected and working, but something
happens when you close the connection that keeps any other Windows applications
from using Winsock (unless you shut Windows down and start it back up).
We don't have NS/OPEN for Reflection, so couldn't try it under OS/2.
