Hi :)
     <<<<< PLUG Alert ??? >>>>>

Fantasia might do this... or potentially purchase a custom designed font for
your laser jet???

Let me try this one again.

We are trying to duplicate, on the HP3000, an invoice printed from an
IBM AS400.

Our problem is the DATA fonts used on the invoice. None of the resident
fonts on our HP LaserJet 4Si is suitable. We need a fixed-pitch font
(so the numbers will line up neatly in columns) that is tall and thin
(we have a lot of columns on the page). We will also need to have some
fields be bold, so I guess we'll need two fonts.

I can send samples to anyone interested.

Does any one know of a vendor who deals in fonts for this purpose?

The folks at Unison-Tymlabs gave us the name of a fonts vendor, Miker
Tech or Micro Tech, in New Jersey, but we cannot get a telephone number.
They also suggested a company called Checksys in Ottawa, but cannot find
them either. There are 38 checksys sites that a search turned up on the
Web, but none jumps out as a font vendor.

Please directly reply to (as I received HP3000-L as a daily digest):
