Actually my original point was that I would like to get that series of
articles somehow for some junior HP people. I have some of them from the
issues I have from back when I read Interact, but I don't have the whole
series and I would like some way to get it because it has a real value and
actually ties in to the original point of this thread.

I might have misunderstood Shawn's original message,
but I took it that he wanted to be able to view those
articles at the Interex site "regardless" of whether
your a member of not. For what its worth, Interact has
never had a problem with my reposting the articles I
have written for them at my own site after the actual
publication has been mailed out to their members. In
this way, members and non-members alike can benefit.

So in my opinion, we're not saying the same thing.
I'm more than happy to pay what I consider to be a fair
amount for any particular product or service. Interex does
have expenses to cover, and making those articles available
does have a cost associated with it. I'd obviously like to
have the opportunity to read them online covered as part of
my value membership, but its currently not. I did go back
to the Interex site and review the Member Benefits page,
and it does appear that I can get the online archives for
an additional $60/year (If I read it correctly). I'm not
sure it is worth it to me for that amount, but at least it
is available. I was under the impression before reading that
page that I could only get it with the 'site membership' which
itself has more benefits associated with it than I personally
would use.

With all due respect to Shawn, I'm sure he was compensated
for all of those articles in one form or another. I've written
a few pieces for them over the last few years, and the people
that I've dealt with have always been more than happy to strike
a bargain for them.
