WARNING: This may be slightly OFF TOPIC.

Can anyone tell how the HP3000 senses an over-temperature condition?
I would imagine that there would be a thermostat-like device inside the
HP3000 box. If so, which card contains that device?

Additionally, is there a similar thing in the HP9000 to sense over-temperature
conditions? Thanks.
