Cerius Tchnology hosted a most excellent GEN/iX Seminar with presenters from Hewlett Packard.

Just to give you a flavor of the Seminar, here are the Agenda Items:

HP e3000 Direction and Futures; the e3000's role in the Internet: Presented by HP Division Management.

Data Center Management for e3000: Presented by HP Division Management.

Cost of Ownership: Presented by HP Division Managment.

Web enablement on the e3000 / Data Center Management breakouts: Presented by HP Division Management.

We were given timely materials, such as white papers on "Enhancing the HP e3000 User Interface" (GUI) and "Web Enabling Your HP e3000 Applications and Data Access".

There was encouraging information, such as, half of the top 25 Fortune 500 Companies use HP e3000's.

MPE iX can do some pretty impressive things, and HP gave us some customer success stories which are very encouraging. There is even wireless now, directly to the HP e3000!

In the Web enablement break out, we shared some of the experiences we had and shared various solutions amongst us.

It was excellent, too, because we were able to put some faces to those who participate in HP3000-L.

GEN/iX Program Seminars are well worth attending and you should plan to do so if they come to your area.
