great machines, I sure hope and pray that Gateway actually DO
something with it other than sit on the rights. Last I heard the new
operating system was based on QNX, Neutrino.
The QNX people have a demo disk (1.44 MB) for download, it contains an
operating system, a word processor, a tcp-ip stack, a browser, and
some html pages, among other things. All video/sound drivers self
configure. It's neat to enter your Isp phone # and the name server
digits, then go browsing after having booted from a completely
self-contained floppy.
