I successfully installed the disc arrays last Saturday
and there were no significant problems, due in large
part to the advice from other listers. Many thanks to
all of you for the advice.
I read in the manual that these arrays can be
connected to a DTC so that they can be monitored with
Gridmgr from a PC with an open session. The directions
were very good up to the point of running MNMGR and
configuring the Ldevs, one for each service processor.
But there was nohting about doing the physical
connections from the array ports to the DTC. Has
anyone done this that could provide some detail on the
physical connections.
