If you call HP First Fax back system at (800) 333-1917 and enter the ID for
Service Parts Listings Index you require:
  19994 Peripherals
  19995 Personal Computer
  19996 Multi-User Computer
  19997 Mass Storage
19998 Analytical, Medical, Test & Measurement
  19999 Self-Paced Service Training
You will get an index of products.

Pick the number off of the column labeled Parts ID List for the product you
desire and call the site again using the desired Doc ID#. On that list,
usually at the bottom, you will see the part numbers of the service manuals
listed.

Call HP or use the www.hp.com site to order the manuals needed.

An HP-SPI CD-ROM was available(5182-2955 $59.00) with this above information
having a search capability. A quarterly subscription version was
available(5182-2955-S $199.00). Call (800) 227-8164.

This is from a 1996 faxback list. YMMV!
