Dis you mean this to be a private message?  It did not go to the 
list as far as I can tell from the headers.

I believe that more than half of all HP3000s installations were 
concentrated within a ridiculously small radius of CSY while most 
of the rest were in the United States, the next largest installed 
base was Canada. These accounted from something like 70% plus of 
all HP3000 installations.  But, no doubt those with greater 
knowledge can provide more accurate and more precise figures.

As to what is left, then I have no idea?  20,000+?
