We work in a distributed environment that includes 20 HP3000s in our
distribution centers connected via dial-up lines to a central IBM.
We recently installed an update of our Cobol picklist print program that
had some minor adjustments to the code.
The update works great in 16 of the sites, but four others are
encountering a run time error:
**** INTERNAL TRAP
Data Memory Protection Trap
[VSM] Undecoded status.info = -37
ABORT: OP014MX0.X.WICS
NM PROG 7c1.00136894 op014ms0s0025+s4d64
PROGRAM TERMINATED IN AN ERROR STATE (CIERR 976)
REMAINDER OF JOB FLUSHED.
I'm not familiar with this error. Can anyone give me a clue
where to look for a solution? The debugging steps we've tried include
restoring the DC database to our development machine (program works fine),
and running our test data against the update program from the DC
(again, no problem).
Appreciate your ideas.
