Hi John,
Going from 5.5 to 7.0 requires a stop at either 6.0 or 6.5 before updating
to 7.0. That is the supported steps.
Going from 5.5 to 6.5 is not a problem.
I have not had too many clients go to 7.0 yet on 9XX boxes simply because
6.5 will still be supported for some time yet.
If you do decide to update to 7.0, make sure you use PP1, plus additional
proactive patches.
