At the risk of extending what must becoming a very boring topic...

All this talk of the Julian calendar reminds me of an expression from old
Roman Repulican times which I think went: "Time and men are not gods"
(/tempus hominesque deos non sunt/ or possibly /tempus homoque deos non
est/?).  If time is a concept of man, then it will vary as much as men do.
