In actual fact, for this instance, we used the new File System Object (FSO)
data structure that appears in VB6 and which will be a constituent component
of the .NET architecture. Indeed, it's our current understanding that this
will be the only high-level method of accessing files and directories in all
of the .NET programming languages, so we thought that we might as well get
used to it now.
