Um, is something missing here? Those of you actually doing this kind of work
with the 3000, is this something that could be useful?

--- HEWLETT-PACKARD APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT WHITE PAPER (Technical
White Paper)
Hewlett-Packard's application development environment unifies and
simplifies the development and deployment of enterpise Internet
Solutions, in terms of both platforms (Windows NT® and
UNIX®) and languages. Consisting of HP Domain FoundationTools,
HP Domain FoundationWare, and third-party (Developer's
Edge partner) products, this complete, cross-platform environment
allows developers to efficiently compile, link, and
debug high-performance 3GL (C/C++ and Java(tm)) and 4GL
modeling/client/server
applications from the same Windows NT platform
for either NT or HP-UX (HP's version of UNIX) deployment.
A new, revolutionary instance of this development environment
is provided by HP OpenStudio, which allows the use
of Microsoft® Visual C++ (part of Microsoft's popular Visual
Studio, which runs on NT) to build object-based C/C++ applications
for HP-UX deployment.
