Dear yonglove (Sorry did catch your name),


You can do the following: print hpswinfo.pub.sys and look for the appropriate
patches.

Another way is to do:
    run sh.hpbin.sys
    cat /SYS/PUB/HPSWINFO | grep ...
    exit

fill in the patch name in capitals at the ...

Trying to reinstall a subsystem should not harm your system (as far as I know
Patch/iX will warn you that the software is already there, for patches you get
the warning, just stop the installation if you get the warning)
