The SNMP error is the HP telling you "I didn't get an SNMP update from the
printer telling me it was ready/done/asleep/out-of-paper/whatever."

Is it *really* an HP Jetdirect card in that printer? (That's what answers
the SNMP stuff). If not; either go buy a Jetdirect card (nothing else works
with the MPE spooler) or talk to RAC about ESPUL or one of the other third
party spooler packages for the 3000...
