Baloney.
This kind of thinking goes along with calls for massive tax increases under
the guise of "investing" in our future. There's only one problem with this
outlook: it's about as much an investment as the 5th race at Santa Anita.
There are far too many variables outside anyone's control but the parents
involved.
If you can't afford to raise kids, both financially and interms of the
commitment of time and energy required, you shouldn't have them. As things
stand, people that do are foisting them off on me. I don't have kids of my
own because I don't *want* them. Why should I be stuck with yours?
