There are no "folks", I run the site solo on my free time.

Biased?  I'm not necessarily for or against the merger, there are pros and
cons on both sides.  I am on the other hand honest.  In addition I would do
a little researched before I made such a bold statement.

You need to spend a few days with a good Unix SysAdmin.

Who has the bias?  I wonder why you would make a statement like that?  Maybe
you can back it up with some reasoning.
