Aldon called today. The lady not only knew what an HP-3000 and an
AS-400 were, but even knew what an HPSUSAN was. It turns out my
predecessors had dropped support for SCOMPARE back in 1998, and the
program was subsequently moved to a different server.

It sounds as though they are still willing to sell SCOMPARE and a
support contract for it.

Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] SCOMPARE question

afaik, aldon continues to support scompare (as well as their other mpe
products). i base that on the fact that we just got a support renewal
quote from them. having said that...and having checked their
website....at least publically they claim to know nothing about mpe. so
your unreturned phone call isn't surprising :-( i'd suggest giving them
another call if you're determined to continue down the scompare path.

scompare, along with aldon's other products are licensed by susan....
