<PLUG ALERT> (yet again)
If you get a copy of MasterOp/3000 for free from Allegro's Web site, it comes
with a piece of software called JOBMON. That periodically monitors jobs'
execution states (and $STDLISTS, job steps, and opened spoolfiles, if you
wish). Also, at the end of the list, it checks for pending replies, and if it
finds any, beeps the terminal and prints the reply. After ten or so cycles of
this noise, it does get annoying enough so that SOMEONE will check. Ok, so
it's a kludge, but it does work.
