Sorry for the off-topic posting, but I have no idea where to find this info but, 
hopefully, someone on this list will point me in the right direction. I've looked 
through the HP3000-L archives without much success.

I've been asked to price out  systems to run Oracle Workgroup Server on 
for financials. We have several HP3000 systems, but this will be running on 
one of the following platforms: HP9000/K260, a Sun system (model 
unknown, but comparable to the K260), Intel-based NT, or Alpha NT. We 
currently own the K260, but will have to upgrade it (we pirated equipment off 
of it when we installed our HP3000 979/KS400 last fall). What I need to find 
out is the number of Transactions per Minute (tpm) that we can expect on 
each system and how much each system will cost. I can find out the costs
once I know what models we are talking about that compare to a K260;
however, I don't know where to find the info on TPM's. 

If anyone on the list knows, please contact me off-line so as not to clutter
