Is anyone out there actually using the inetd program to launch and control
the httpd (web server) on their 3000?
We're running inetd but weren't able to get it to successfully launch/fork
the httpd process (even after adding the appropriate entries into the
inetd.conf and etc/services files).
inetd does seem to have some quirks - in some cases it died with data
protection traps, so I'd be interested in knowing if someone is actually
using it (successfully).
