Are you sure about the "924" CPU name ? (or is this no HP3000?)
I am sure HP never sold a box called a '924'. We sold/sell
series 920, 922, 925, 927 and 928.
Can you try a:
:SHOWVAR HPCPUNAME  ?
 
Apart from that your question is rather unclear to me;
what do you want/need to eliminate; what tasks shall the
remaining box fulfil; what is growing 30% a year ??
