Something is quite bizarre here.

STORECAT was built by you and now is permanently open and cannot be purged?

One way to find out exactly when that file became flagged as a system file and therefore could not be purged would be:

1. Perform install again
2. Logon as manager.sys and listf storecat,2
At this point, if past behavior is any indication, file should not exist,

If it does, problem solved.

If it doesn't, build it as you did before, and listf ,2.

At this point, there should be no asterisk - indicating file is not opened.

If there is - let us know because something very strange is going on.

If no asterisk continue to restore @[log in to unmask]@ with the keep;create;olddate options.

If you can be bothered - let us know the results after each step of the way.

Should be able to methodically sort this out - but it may take a bit of extra effort.
