I just got a memo on the HP9000, everyone else has probable heard this
already. This was part of the memo.

"As part of the transition to the HP Integrity systems, HP has announced
the retirement of the HP 9000 server line. As of December 31, 2008, HP
9000 servers will no longer be available for purchase. Support for
these products offerings will continue to be available through 2013."

I guess they want us all to migrate to a different chip on a BLAD or
Integrity? Has anyone had experience with the transition?

I heard rumor some were not pleased with the performance.
