The compression product is CSM (compression storage manager) from
Solution-Soft Systems. I believe a decompression module was provided
with the product which could be installed on machines that aren't
licensed. When the full product is installed, decompression is supposed
to be automatic when you open the file. It has been many years since I
used the product, so I don't recall details.
A look at Solution-Soft's website http://www.solution-soft.com/ does not
show any reference to the product, so I'm not sure if it's still
supported. Good luck.

Subject: [Fwd: MPE Compressed files]
I came across two files that have
attribute COMPRESSED, a lowercase "c" appears as the
leading char under filetype.
I have never seen this before; and I cannot access it.
I believe these are handled via 3rd party disk compression
software, but not sure.
Any ideas what they are,
how they were created,
and how to access them?
Keven
