Close Ron: it's "etymology" and according to the online WWWebster
Dictionary the etymology for Malarkey is in fact unknown. Originated: 1929.
Definition: insincere or foolish talk. Synonyms: bunkum, nonsense,
balderdash, blatherskite, bushwa (like that one), guff, hogwash, hooey,
poppycock and twaddle. And that's no malarkey...
