Early this year, Open Seas in France assumed the distribution rights for the
previously Proactive tools (Flexibase, Backchat, Qgen, Quip, etc.) from
Jetform
who had acquired them along with the Proactive company several years ago.
Triolet Systems is the North American sales and support representative for
these tools under an agreement with Open Seas.
We have tested Flexibase and found no Y2K problems with the functionality of
Flexibase. As always, we will work with any customers to identify and correct
any problems that might occur although we certainly don't expect any. As I am
sure you are aware, the Y2K problem in your own database(s) is something that
you will have to address yourselves.
Flexibase (E.06.03) has several features that aid in the conversion of date
fields within Image database(s) to Y2K compliance (longer year components of
the fields).
