I use to work with Jeff Hester on school board committees.  If you look at
the top of the picture in the first url the round nodules are new planets in
the making (according to Jeff).  He said they estimate that many of these
nodules are larger than our own sun.  If so that makes these gaseous pillars
very BIG!
