Bill Lancaster posted recently asking about how to get output from
Maestro pre-production report into Excel spreadsheet to build a gant
chart (cant find the message).

You can paste the output into excel and under the data pulldown change
text to columns (did a quick test on a few dozen lines of a conman sj
and seemed to work fine).  Or, if you have a unix master, Visual Maestro
will generate the gant chart (in fact there are some utilities for
extracting from a symphony or symnew file on unix).  Or, you can reroute
the spool file to disc and massage it there.  But I do not recall any
way to get at what the reporter program is actually doing as it
generates the pre- and post-production reports from symnew/symphony.
