Spare a thought for folk residing in the southern hemisphere, where
the correction for the earths field has to be applied 180 degrees out
from the north.
Nice suppliers get the northern hemisphere suppliers to correct
properly, but some are rather cavalier. (Sun Microsystems until
recently looked very distorted!) And re-orienting the monitor
doesn't help down here.
