I wouldn't worry about the memory utilization.  Memory gets allocated
during the boot process, even though it gets deallocated, it still
resides in memory as a dirty page.  It generally doesn't get pushed out
until a process request something new.

Of more concern is how much cpu utilization is being spent on memory
management, (I suspect very little).  Also page faults, which I suspect
is none.

Hi All,

I have one HP3000/968 RX with 384 Mem. System is using the more than
30-40%
mem when there is no process on the system.  Why ??
Showq is also not showing any process in the queue.
