Thankyou to all the replies received re: our system clock.

V7 Speedware and Easyreporter use the Hardware clock, while V5 and
Cobol use the Software clock.

There seems to be a link between the clocks as well.  When the
hardware clock was corrected from 1991-10-18 to 1997-08-06, the
system clock was automatically updated to the year 2003.

Speedware faxed me info on how to set both clocks on system reboot.
