   Multi-Programming Executive

Note: the exact capitalization/spacing/hyphentation may be in dispute...
I couldn't find a copy of "Beyond RISC!", the (ahem) authority :)
but an MPE-IV Intrinsics Manual defined it as
"Multiprogramming executive (MPE-IV)" [sic].
and the System Error Messages manual of the same era capitalized
the "Executive".
