Actually, DOC/3000 and VCS/3000 *require* you to keep your source files on
the HP/3000 platform. Furthermore, both products store their configuration
'meta-data' in the good-old Image databases. At the same time, you can use MS
Windows (NT, 95) workstation as a GUI front-end, if you'd like to expand the
use of the standard HP/3000-based interface.

Please note that Diamond Optimum also offers a range of other Software
Configuration Management (SCM) products targeting developers of the UNIX and
MS Windows applications. Once again, these tools allow you to keep the source
files on their native platforms, rather than having to import them into a
central repository (NT, UNIX, HP/3000 or otherwise).

Hope this clarifies the issue.
