It might make a good temporary platform on the road to Linux. HP needs to
get serious about the future of HP-UX. Pretty soon, HP-UX is going to be a
high-priced alternative in the commodity OS marketplace. The good news is
that migrating from one dialect of Unix/Linux to another Unix/Linux dialect
should be relatively easy to accomplish.
If anybody sees some usefull info on all the technical differences between
HP-UX, Solaris, AIX, Linux distributions, etc. I'd sure be interested!
