Mike on a different tack, have you looked at electronic Funds Transfer?
Sure saves paper, printing, handling and mailing.  it may not work
conveniently out of a 3000, but you could download a file to a PC and
use a service liike Check Free.  The same service is avilable from
most banks.  Let me know if you want more information.
